Material Honesty
Every Luna Iron canvas contains verified meteorite iron. This page documents exactly what that means, where it comes from, and what ships with every work.
The Iron Source
Iron meteorites are among the rarest materials on Earth. When certified meteorite craftsmen cut and polish raw meteorite material into wearable jewelry, they generate a byproduct: iron-nickel alloy dust, powder, and small granules — the offcuts of precision work.
These offcuts are the raw material for every Luna Iron canvas. We collect what the jewelry process discards.
The iron is mixed directly into the acrylic impasto medium before application, creating a paint that carries actual meteorite material in every brushstroke and palette knife pass. The result is a surface that carries the actual atomic structure of material formed 4.5 billion years ago — before Earth existed.
This is not a marketing claim. It is a material fact, documented and certified with each work.
